The snow was very pretty.....particularly yesterday when we had blue skies rather than the grey of Monday but on both days my concern was the garden birds. First thing I'm out with a saucepan of hot water to melt the water in their bowls and brush the snow off the almost invisible feeders. There was noticeably far more activity on both days indeed at one time we had five blackbirds in the garden.....though they were spending as much time fighting as feeding. |
