The snowdrops, as you can see, are now open. In the hours of daylight at least. I didn't know until this morning that snowdrops were amongst the flower species that opened and closed their petals depending on the time of the day. Yesterday they were open but by first thing this morning they were closed again. By mid-morning, open again. So now we know. |
