I think I've remarked before that I almost feel cheated if I don't at least get to see a Kingfisher when visiting the reservoirs so today was a treble treat. Soon after I arrived I saw not one but two, fighting I think over a fish that a very small one had caught. Them just as I was about to leave this adult spent a minute or so posing for me. I just wish they'd choose somewhere a bit brighter to perch! |
